Y Combinator in Buenos Aires - Sept 17-18

by Y Combinator7/16/2019

We’re excited to announce that Y Combinator will be visiting Buenos Aires on September 17-18, 2019.

In the last few years we’ve funded several strong Argentinian startups. There is clearly a lot of talent in the country and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and we’re hoping to see even more startups emerge.

YC’s president Geoff Ralston, YC partner Eric Migicovsky and Director of Admissions Stephanie Simon will host a workshop on September 17, moderated by YC alum Tomi Pierucci.

At the workshop, you’ll hear what happens at Y Combinator, what we’ve learned from funding over 2,000 companies, and we’ll be joined by YC alumni who will talk about what it was like going from Argentina to YC.

The deadline to sign up for the workshop is August 16 and we’ll send out invitations with the location of the event by August 27. Sign up for the workshop here.

We are also hosting group office hours with founders while we’re in Buenos Aires. Group office hours are 45 minutes each and include up to four other startups who are at your stage. You’ll get feedback from YC and you’ll meet other founders who are facing similar challenges. If you’re interested in starting a startup or want feedback on what you’re building, sign up for group office hours here.
